On these pages you will find the information we publish to help you to identify if you or someone you know has postnatal depression.

We do our best to make sure that any information we provide is up to date, safe and in line with best practice. To quickly get our downloads click  handouts and factsheets

You may wish to look at the NHS Choices website which has a video featuring woman talking about their experience of postnatal depression and Dr Margaret Oates, a perinatal psychiatrist who discusses how it can be treated quickly with the right treatment.

The mental health charity Mind offers comprehensive advice and information about Postnatal depression.

The Association for Post Natal Illness is a national organisation offering advice and telephone support for women with PND, should you not have access to a local group.
