Book Launch – Journey to Chocolate

If you live in the Chester area you really should keep the afternoon of the 11th November free to come to the launch of trustee, Ann Girling’s book, Journey to Chocolate. The preparations for event at The Pryors Hayes Golf Club near Chester are well under way. They are kindly supporting this venture by offering us their fabulous marquee for free, Ann is donating the proceeds from the event to our charity. Thank you to both!

We’re starting at 12 noon, a light lunch and drink are included in the ticket price of £10, a vegetarian option will be available. There will of course be a few speeches, some photographs, signed copies of Ann’s book and a variety of stalls selling lovely things, such as beauty products, jewellery, chocolate (naturally) etc. You can book your ticket through Charity Giving just go to this website: and donate £10 and we’ll be in touch to confirm your place – you can always donate a bit more, we won’t complain!

It only costs £10 to book a stall, plus the price of a ticket, contact Mary Newsome if you would like to have a stall at this event, ( or phone 07526459181). Be quick though there are only a few left! We also have a few tables left for to sponsor, its a great deal and a chance for some publicity! Each of the 10 tables is sponsored at a cost of £100 each. Sponsors will receive the following:-

• Two complimentary tickets.
• Company name on your table
• Company literature displayed
• Logo on the programme for the day
• Listing on the charity website

Ann has written about her life and her work, but this is not a simple autobiography! Ann has used her lifetime experiences from childhood, through her various careers to develop a workbook to help you with life’s ups and downs as well as the things that make you question what your life is about. She uses a simple but effective formula of questions designed to make you think, things to ponder and stories to illustrate and help you evaluate and ruminate about your values and where you are going in life. Ann’s experience as a life coach, health visitor, wife, mother, postnatal depression sufferer and woman of experience have made her uniquely qualified to write this book.
